Autumn is upon us and we’re back to floodlights at the track, so it seems like a good time to reflect on the year so far. Despite the silence on here, there has been plenty of running going on in club colours
The club bookended the summer with two relay events. Over 20-21 May, the team circled London in Green Belt Relay. On 3rd September, we fielded two teams in River Relay (the Wanderers and the Waverers).
Team Clapham Runners had lots of representatives running in the both the Spring Surrey Badger Half Marathon in March and the Harry Hawkes 10 in July.
As well as team events, we’ve also had plenty of individual honours – in 10kms, Halves, Marathons (including London, Manchester, Rome and the Hardmoors White Horse Trail marathons just to name a few) right up to Damian completing the “Up” run of the Comrade Ultra Marathon in South Africa.
So, a good spring and summer, then. Good work team CR!
